Cresset Capital, the US firm, has appointed Jessica Malkin as executive vice president, who previously served as chief executive of Chicago Ideas, a platform and community for ideas and connections.

Malkin will support strategic growth initiatives, such as improving clients’ experience of Cresset’s offerings, taking charge of learning events as well as expanding its national philanthropic, business, and civic engagement initiatives.

“Over the past five years serving on the Chicago Ideas board, I’ve seen Jessica’s strength as a leader and connector,” Eric Becker, Cresset co-founder and Chicago Ideas board member, said.

Malkin will join the Cresset team officially in early 2020.
